Wolfgang Puck Catering is seeking an Executive Chef to lead a refined workplace dining program where simplicity, seasonality, and impeccable execution take center stage. This role blends the craft of modern, elegant cuisine with the rhythm of a Monday–Friday operation, with the osccasional weekend event, creating a dining experience that feels thoughtful, polished, and unmistakably WPC.
As the culinary leader, you’ll shape daily menus, elevate café offerings, and guide an inspired team in delivering fresh, scratch-made food that enhances the workday. You’ll champion clean flavors, purposeful presentation, and a warm, service-driven culture across the entire culinary operation.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily culinary operations, producing polished, wholesome menus aligned with WPC and corporate dining standards
• Craft seasonal offerings and daily specials that highlight clean flavors, quality ingredients, and smart execution
• Ensure consistent preparation using standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines
• Lead, train, and mentor a dedicated kitchen team in culinary technique, safety, sanitation, and equipment use
• Maintain a spotless, efficient kitchen through structured cleaning and preventive maintenance schedules
• Manage food and non-food inventories, ordering, and cost controls to meet budgetary expectations
• Maximize product utilization, maintaining quality while minimizing waste
• Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation requirements, ensuring strong audit performance
• Participate in client interactions, tastings, menu reviews, and workplace engagement initiatives
• Support a culture of collaboration, hospitality, and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
• Culinary degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 5+ years of progressive kitchen or culinary management experience
• Strong background in high-volume, scratch cooking; workplace dining experience a plus
• Catering experience and comfort with small and large-format events
• Excellent understanding of menu development, quality control, cost management, and operational systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and standard kitchen technology
• ServSafe certification strongly preferred
