Water Treatment Operator (Temp-to-Perm)

We are seeking a Water Treatment Operator to support daily operations, maintenance, and testing at a water/wastewater treatment facility. This role ensures proper operation of equipment, quality control, and compliance with state regulations.
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License
Oklahoma C-level Wastewater Certification (required)
12+ months with State-approved D-level Wastewater Certification
Knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes, valves, pumps, motors, and lab testing
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, data management systems, PLCs, and SCADA systems
Operate treatment facilities to control flow and processing of water/wastewater, sludge, and effluent
Monitor gauges, meters, and control panels; record readings in shift logs
Collect samples and perform routine lab tests and analyses
Observe operating conditions, interpret results, and recommend adjustments
Start/stop pumps, engines, and generators as required
Operate valves and gates (manual or remote)
Report issues to lead operator/supervisor and take corrective action as directed
Perform routine maintenance and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
