DESCRIPTION

The AMER Security & Loss Prevention Field (SLP) Team is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the design, development, and implementation of world-class security and loss prevention solutions for its newly emerging Quick Commerce (Amazon Now) business unit throughout the AMER region. Reporting to the field organizational leader for AMER S&LP, this role will serve as the subject matter expert for launching Amazon Now sites, establishing all S&LP programs from inception, and acting as the primary liaison between Worldwide Operations Security (WWOS) solution & services teams (e.g., E2ESC Solutions, Secured Services, Physical Security, Operational Excellence & Risk Management, Risk & Resilience, technology partners, Field Investigations), S&LP field teams, and operations. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for designing standard work and security-as-a-service models for remote field SLP support, developing tactical field support frameworks, and defining service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure 72-hour response times for general support and 4-hour response times for high severity incidents. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to identify operational gaps, diagnose security vulnerabilities, and implement sustainable solutions. This role is located in Illinois, Texas, or Georgia and offers the unique opportunity to build the foundational security and loss prevention infrastructure for Amazon's emerging Quick Commerce business from the ground up.

- Establish and monitor key loss prevention metrics including theft rates, WIM rates, operational shrink, exit screening performance, and incident response times specific to Quick Commerce operations
- Design and implement Quick Commerce-specific dashboards and weekly business review (WBR) processes to track S&LP performance and drive operational improvements through data-driven insights
- Develop comprehensive investigation protocols and case management processes for Quick Commerce sites, including coordination with Field Investigations teams and case tracking systems
- Partner with technology teams to implement S&LP systems including CMS, exit screening solutions, access control platforms, and monitoring solutions tailored for Quick Commerce facilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive S&LP launch playbook including SOPs, site readiness checklists, training curricula, audit frameworks, and compliance validation processes
- Design optimal S&LP staffing models based on risk assessment, operational volume, and business requirements; develop staffing ratios and role definitions
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments including external threat analysis, internal vulnerability assessments, and site hardening recommendations
- Develop and manage S&LP budget including headcount planning, capital expenditure requirements, and operational expense forecasting
- Establish audit and compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to S&LP policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and deliver training programs for Quick Commerce S&LP personnel including onboarding, professional development, and emergency response protocols
- Work cross-functionally and cross-geographically with US and Canada stakeholders at all levels to support large-scale programs and initiatives
- Provide leadership, expertise, and technical/operational guidance to stakeholders and field teams
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus constraints
- Present ideas to senior leadership, remain receptive to feedback, and quickly apply changes
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
