Office Manager & Executive Assistant to the COO - US

Full-Time – Tempe, Arizona - US

Salary Range – US $75k - $110k (negotiable) + Equity

About Syenta

The demand for powerful computing is skyrocketing—driven by AI, data centers, and next-generation electronics—even as Moore’s Law approaches its limits. Advanced packaging has emerged as the new battleground for increasing performance and efficiency, but existing manufacturing processes are expensive, slow, and struggle to scale. Syenta is changing that.

Our vision is to bring the power of additive manufacturing to the semiconductor industry through our proprietary Localised Electrochemical Metallization technology.

Founded in Australia, our growing footprint in the US represents a key milestone in our journey. We are building a world-class team where seasoned engineers and ambitious emerging talent collaborate to solve some of the toughest challenges in semiconductor manufacturing. To help shape and support our US operations, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager and Executive Assistant (EA) to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

The role

An exciting opportunity awaits for an Office Manager and EA to the COO to shape the culture, processes, and presence of Syenta's US operations. As Office Manager and EA, you’ll ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our US office while providing high-level administrative and operational support to the COO. This position is ideal for someone passionate about fostering a dynamic, welcoming workplace and who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment.

Day to Day

Office Manager

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including office set-up, supplies, and vendor coordination
  • Oversee office maintenance and liaise with building management and service providers to ensure a functional, safe workspace
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for new US team members
  • Organize company events, meetings, and team-building activities for the growing US team
  • Assist with operational and administrative processes to streamline workflows during the company’s expansion phase
  • Support cross-functional coordination between US and Australian teams
  • Champion Syenta’s culture and values, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment

Executive Assistant

  • Manage the COO’s inbox and calendar, prioritizing requests and maintaining flow, including drafting correspondence and handling admin tasks
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications related to the COO
  • Prepare high-quality documents for internal meetings, external communications, and investor presentations
  • Coordinate business travel and accommodation logistics

About You

  • 5+ years of experience as an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, or similar administrative role
  • Proven ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and judgment in handling sensitive information
  • The ability to anticipate, identify and address challenges proactively, and be resourceful in solving problems
  • Experience planning and coordinating team events, meetings, and community initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to help foster a strong, values-driven team culture
  • A community-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for supporting colleagues, connecting people, fostering collaboration, and building a sense of belonging to enhance the workplace experience
  • Confident using digital tools for office management, communication, and workflow coordination

We encourage you to apply even if you only meet some of the criteria above — we value potential and a growth mindset as much as experience.
