We currently have an exciting temporary opportunity as a **Lab Assistant** with a global leader in medical devices, biotechnology, and R&D in **Athens, GA.** **Location:** Athens, GA **Contract:** Until 12/31/2026 (can extend) **Schedule:** Mon-Fri, 1 st shift (8AM-4:30PM) **Compensation** : $20-23/hr **SUMMARY** Provides skilled technical assistance in a research laboratory. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Performs moderately complex laboratory experiments. + Prepares laboratory specimens. + Assembles and operates moderately complex laboratory and field equipment. + Positions, weighs and assists in procedures with experimental animals. + Uses moderately complex mathematical models to analyze data and summarize the results of experiments. + Prepares chemical compounds, reagents and culture media. + Develops, prints and enlarges film data. **QUALIFICATIONS** + HSD required, AS/BS in chemistry, biology, or related discipline preferred + 2-4+yrs of laboratory experience + Computer experience (Microsoft, LIMS) + Good communication skills both oral and written + P#1 **Important information:** This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.
