In North America, Centiro has offices in Boston, Montreal, and Vancouver, and this role will support our growth across the region.

As HR Business Partner for North America, you will have a hands-on and supporting role, working closely with leaders and employees to make sure everyday HR runs smoothly while also contributing to projects that strengthen our culture and people practices. You will be part of Centiro’s global HR team, receiving support from colleagues worldwide, while ensuring the implementation and localization of Centiro’s values, practices, and HR strategy in the US and Canada.

The work you will lead

This is a tactical and operational HR role with responsibility for a broad range of HR processes and administration in the US and Canada.

Your main focus areas include:

• Employer Branding, both locally and in collaboration with global initiatives
• Talent Acquisition in North America
• Talent Management and People Engagement
• Supporting and coaching our leaders in North America
• HR administration and documentation
• Payroll coordination in collaboration with external providers

• Knowledge and experience of US and Canadian labor law, work environment, and wellbeing/return-to-work processes

• Onboarding & offboarding of new employees
• Maintaining and developing our Centiro culture and organization

In addition, you will drive the implementation of global HR initiatives and contribute to projects aimed at developing our working methods, tools and systems.

Things you are good at

We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience within HR and who has:

• Higher education in HR or equivalent
• Experience working in the software/tech industry
• Knowledge of US and Canadian labor law, work environment, and wellbeing/return-to-work processes
• Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships
• Experience running recruitment processes independently and conducting interviews
• Strong consulting skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team

Bonus if you:

• Experience working in an international context
• Certification in a personality profile tool (e.g., OPQ, TalentQ)
• Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
• Certification in team or leadership development (e.g., 7 Habits, IMGD model)
