Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 10-15 Carrier Sales Representatives, ensuring success in revenue growth and operational execution.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to drive consistency and efficiency across the team.
Train and coach CSRs on carrier pricing, availability, negotiation tactics, industry knowledge, and problem-solving strategies.
Monitor performance by reviewing, updating, and communicating KPI metrics, providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company expectations in all documentation and database entries.
Assist the team in high-priority situations, such as hot loads and service failures, providing hands-on support when needed.
Partner with Human Resources on hiring, onboarding, corrective actions, and annual performance evaluations.
Provide regular reports to leadership on challenges, successes, and process improvements.
Ensure the team is appropriately staffed and manage scheduling to maintain full operational coverage.
Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally as needed between assigned offices.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a 3PL environment, with a proven track record in leading and motivating a team.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
Strong computer proficiency in MS Office, Teams, and industry-specific software (experience with TAI preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead effectively in a high-energy environment.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
