Do you have a passion for guiding students towards fulfilling careers? An outstanding international school in the UAE is seeking a dedicated Careers Counselor available to start in August 2024.

As our Careers Counselor, you will provide valuable guidance to students, helping them explore career options, set goals, and plan their futures. Your role will be instrumental in shaping students' aspirations and preparing them for success.

Requirements to APPLY 

• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field. A Master's degree is prefered but not a must 
• Rrelevant counseling certifications is often preferred.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in career counseling or related field, preferably in an educational setting.
• Familiarity with career assessment tools and resources, understanding of career development theories, and knowledge of educational and vocational training opportunities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with diverse student populations, good organizational skills, and proficiency in using counseling techniques.
• Proficiency in English is typically required, and knowledge of Arabic or other languages may be beneficial.

• Conduct career assessments and aptitude tests
• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to students
• Organize career fairs, workshops, and guest speaker events
• Develop career-related curriculum and resources
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student career development
