This is a remote position.

Verve Counseling & Wellness is looking to expand and add to our team! We are looking for a Qualified Mental Health Professional. We are looking for someone who is interested & wants to be a part of a private practice, is hard-working, eager to learn, and has great communication skills with both the internal team and external clients.

• Flexible hours
  
• Part-Time (There is a partnership between both the contractor and Verve to help achieve either part-time or full-time status. A salaried compensation structure is considered once a full-time caseload is reached.)
  
• Health insurance and paid time off available for full-time case load
  
• Weekly one-on-one meetings required
  
• Eligible for performance-based bonuses
  

Requirements

Role:

• Focus on doing the therapy sessions, communication with clients, and needed notes
  
• Help build and lead therapy groups
  
• Promote, deliver, & oversee application of mental health assessments to clients
  
• Communicate and work with clients and internal medical team
  
• Participate and assist in group therapy sessions as needed
  
• Attend weekly team meetings
  
• Keep track of, communicate with, schedule, and meet with assigned clients referrals and client caseload
  
• Prepare and maintain all treatment records accurately (Tx plans, progress notes, appointment notes, etc.)
  
• Provide services & therapy services for teens, individuals, couples, families, and groups with highest regards for ethical and moral code
  
• Maintain confidentiality of all client and appointment records
  
• Provide information, referrals, and practical information to clients as needed
  
• Provide emotional support and crises intervention when/as needed
  
• Conduct safety assessments, risk management & safety planning as needed
  
• Participate/assist in other tasks as needed
  

Requirements & Details:

• Schedule: Evening & Saturday availability preferred
  
• Minimum of 1 year of individual/group/ or family therapy experience required
  
• Minimum of 15 hours of availability a week required
  
• Great & effective communication skills required
  
• Ability to de-escalate and appropriately manage conflict and clients if needed required
  
• Ability to build rapport with clients and internal team required
  
• Participate/assist in other tasks as needed
